ANNOUNCEMENT

NEW DRIES VISSER VYFSTER AUCTION

LIVE AUCTION AT WINGATE PARK COUNTRY CLUB, PRETORIA

KEY DATES

AUCTION OPENS: 08:00, 4 MAY

LOTS START CLOSING SEQUENTIALLY: 11:00, 7 MAY

WHO ARE THE FAIREST SABLES OF THEM ALL?

With incredible, hard-to-believe, super wide and heavy horns, with bases of 11”+, Dries Visser pure-bred black masked sable breeding bulls are hard to beat. (By the way, our pride and joy, 56”+ Dries, boasts horn base circumferences of no less than 11 5/8”.)

But why are heavy horns and wide, solid bases important, you may wonder?

Well, it’s simple. Sables that feature these difficult-to-breed unique characteristics are less likely to suffer horn breaks in the veld. And they look magnificent too. Once you’ve noticed the difference between heavy horns well balanced on wide bases, you’ll never want thin, wispy and flimsy horns again, however long their measurements may be.

It’s one of those truths: Once you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it.

Plus! Horn base circumference also adds to the overall SCI score of the animal too.

So, when you buy into the carefully selected, finely bred Dries Visser sable herd, established over 25 years with pure, unadulterated attention, not only will your sables come from a long lineage of 50” to 56”+ bulls and jaw-dropping cows, you will also have animals with fewer horn breaks that look amazing in the veld as well. It’s just like a fairy-tale!

SELECTED FIVE-STAR SELLERS

As has become tradition as part of our Dries Visser Vyfster Auction, we’ve invited several preferred guest sellers, who are all contributing high quality animals. In this way we are making sure the game breeding community can purchase top lots across a wide spectrum of highly desirable species during the auction.

Thank you to our group of guest sellers for joining us. You are helping us to take the auction to the next level. The five-star level.

THERE’S EVEN MORE TO LOOK FORWARD TO…

These roans will make you cry… Of antici… pation!

We are pretty proud to announce that two of South Africa’s best roan cows, one measuring 27 6/8” and the other exactly 27”, will come on auction with us between 4 and 7 May. If you’re a serious roan breeder, you’ll know that cows such as these are scarce as hen’s teeth. They don’t appear on auction often.

In addition, a young roan breeding bull with remarkable potential to become a 34” plusser will also be on offer. This outlier bull features heavy horns with base circumferences of 11 3/8”. It is truly the full roan bull package!

So don’t waste time, make sure the new Dries Visser Vyfster Auction between 4 and 7 May is marked in your diary now.

Vyfster, for five barrels of fun and a top-class auction to boot. See you on the seventh. Of May.
